DD’s Taxation & Accounting is a private accounting firm based in Mooroolbark Victoria. When we started working with the team in 2018, we used their limited marketing budget to establish a basic online presence, with a professional website.
Once the team witnessed the new website was able to deliver results, they were keen to invest more in their online marketing to drive further growth in the business.
In 2020, they commissioned us to design and implement a more comprehensive marketing strategy to grow their business.
We initially started by conducting a comprehensive audit of the existing website. As a result, we decided that the website should be migrated to a different platform to allow more customisation and enhance our SEO capabilities. Website migrations can impact search ranking if not managed correctly. So after carefully planning the migration over several weeks, we successfully migrated the site to the new platform, with minimal impact on organic rankings.
Once the site was migrated, we then identified a number of improvements that could be made in order to drive additional traffic. This included ongoing content publishing to target specific keywords, and testing various website elements to improve conversion rates. The website improvements enhanced organic search visibility, along with an uplift of 190% in the website conversion rate, leading to a substantial increase in client leads for the accounting practice.
In addition, we planned and implemented paid search advertising via the Google Ads platform. After conducting thorough keyword research, we created several campaigns, creating and testing different variations of ad copy. The addition of paid search advertising resulted in an uplift of 171% in website visitors compared to the previous year.
We then rolled out a series of brand collateral to ensure that the brand style guide was consistently applied across all of the different touchpoints, including business cards, email signatures, letterheads, and physical signage. Consistency is key in developing brand equity with customers, and getting new customers to remember the brand.
Finally, we created Facebook and LinkedIn pages for the business, optimised them to match the website, and then handed over the admin logins to DD’S for ongoing management.
